So in reality, we are making our profit on the advertising fees and on our affiliate link revenue rather than solely on the sale of the item. We never list new auctions until we have enough sponsored ads and/or profitable affiliate links to cover the discounts on our auctions.

If you have multiple devices (such as phones; computers; tablets; etc.) and they are all signed in to the same account at the same time, it may not create the ideal user experience for you - Here's why: The discount wheel on each auction spins independently and uniquely on every user's device and/or account and only one discount wheel will stop when the auction ends (the wheel on the winning bidder's device and/or account). If you bid and win an auction using multiple devices that are all signed in to your account, the winning discount wheel may not be displayed on the same device where you placed your bids. Since you are simultaneously signed in to multiple devices with the same account, our algorithm can't determine which device you bid from and will have to randomly select only one of those devices to trigger the winning discount wheel. Therefore, if you are signed in to multiple devices with the same account and you win an auction, you will see the winning discount wheel stop on only one of those devices. Also note that since the discount wheel spins independently and uniquely on each device, the arrow on the discount wheel will be spinning at different positions on each of the multiple devices you are signed in to. The discount you receive will be based solely and only on whichever of your devices gets randomly triggered to stop the winning discount wheel when the auction ends. So as you can see, there is absolutely no advantage to being signed in to your account on multiple devices at the same time. Lastly, if you place a bid on an auction and then sign out of your account but you still win that auction, your account will still have a discount wheel attached to that auction. If you then sign in to your account after the auction has ended, you will see your winning discount wheel on that auction along with the discount you received. Likewise, you don't have to be signed in to view any of our completed auctions, so you can also view the winning discount wheel on the completed auction you won without needing to sign in.

No. We explicitly forbid and do not allow any type of sniping software programs, coding, bots, artificial intelligence (AI), automated systems or any other methods to be used on our auctions in an effort to win an auction or create a bidding advantage. We take this issue very seriously and use every effort to safeguard against this type of activity in order to establish a fair and fun auction experience for all our users. All bidding must be done manually and naturally by each person without any form of augmented assistance. Any user caught using any method in an attempt to gain an advantage over natural human bidding may have their account suspended or terminated along with blockage from all future participation and may also be subject to any damages sustained by us and/or our users. We maintain and reserve the right to suspend and/or terminate any account for any reason we determine.

Whenever you win an auction, you will need to pay for your item within 24 hours of winning the auction using the original and authentic Fidem crypto coin as payment. Our goal at Below Spot is to make sure that our bidders are getting a great price on the items they are bidding on. At times, bidding may get heavy on a popular item even though there may still be a lot of time left in that auction. If bids get near (or reach or surpass) the retail value of the item, we may temporarily pause all bidding on that auction until the last few minutes of that auction. We then allow bidding to resume at the end of that auction (generally in the last 5 minutes of that auction). This process is done only when necessary and solely for the purpose of keeping the price of the item low and attractive for all our bidders. It is a rare occurrence and only happens occasionally. It is done to make sure our bidders get a great deal! Since Below Spot is the seller of all the items on our website, we don't mind temporarily pausing the bidding on an auction if necessary in order to make sure the price of our items stay low. By doing this, it helps to ensure that our bidders are always getting a great price on all the items they bid on.

No, as per our Terms of Service and User Agreement, we do not allow the same user to make multiple accounts. We take this issue very seriously because we want to establish a fair auction experience for all our users. So even if you use different names or different addresses, it is still a major violation that is strictly enforced and once found out, it will result in termination of your accounts and banning of your IP address. When you win an auction, you will receive an email notification from us with the amount due for your item. You will also see a notification on our website when you log into your Below Spot account. When you win an auction, you will then have 24 hours to pay us with Fidem for your item. Yes, we only ship to U.S. addresses at this time. Currently, we do not ship outside the United States but we are in the process of making plans for aggressive growth to accommodate users outside the U.S. It is our intention to open distribution centers in other countries and areas outside the United States very soon. Also, we must have your physical address for delivery of your items as we do not ship to PO boxes.

Yes! Most of the items we offer are shipped for free. When there is free shipping on an auction item, the words "Free Shipping" will be prominently displayed on that auction. However, some auctions that provide free shipping may still require a small processing fee. When there is a processing fee, it is usually very small, such as only $1, but in some cases, it may be more. If an auction displays "Free Shipping", you can determine if there is a processing fee by going to that auction's detail page and then clicking on the 'Shipping' tab and it will show you whether there is a processing fee or not. If we are charging a shipping fee on an auction, then the words "Free Shipping" will not be displayed on that auction. You can view the shipping fee by going to that auction's detail page and then clicking on the 'Shipping' tab - the shipping fee will be clearly posted there.

The publicized Below Spot office locations are used for administrative purposes only such as: customer service; listing the auctions; software monitoring; advertising coordination; etc. We do not stock or ship our items from any of our publicized office locations. All employees at our administrative offices have no knowledge of the locations of our storage and shipment facilities. Due to the nature of our high value products such as gold and silver, all our inventory is securely vault-stored and shipped from undisclosed confidential fulfillment locations. We are extremely protective and cautious in revealing the whereabouts and locations of our storage and shipment facilities in order to safeguard our inventory and to protect our employees. We do this as an added security measure to help prevent potential theft and to restrict malicious targeting or harm to any of our employees. Therefore, we do not allow local auction winners in our area to physically come in to our offices and pick up their item since their item will not be there. Most of the items are shipped by either USPS First Class mail or USPS Priority Mail. A tracking number is provided on all items we ship. We occasionally will use other carriers to ship as well.

All items we offer on our auctions are in stock and shipped by us at Below Spot. We usually ship within two business days from the time we receive payment for the auction item you won. Sales tax is required by most states so if your state requires it, sales tax will automatically be applied to your invoice when you win an auction. If required in your state, sales tax for your area will automatically be calculated on the price of your item after the discount has been applied. So if you won an auction and bid $100 and you got a $75 discount, then you would only pay sales tax on $25 as that is the actual amount you paid for the item after the discount. Please note that some states don't require that sales tax be paid on precious metals (gold, silver, etc.) or on bullion, numismatic coins & currency.

If you win an auction and get the 100% discount, some states require us to still collect sales tax based on the retail price of the item even though you got a full 100% discount and essentially received the item for free. Here's an example: If sales tax in your area is 5% and the item with the 100% discount has a retail value of $100, then you would need to pay $5 in sales tax even though you didn't pay anything for the item. This regulation does not apply to all states, but only to some of them and it is an actual regulatory statute that is required and enforced by some of these states. If your state requires it, then sales tax will be calculated and applied to items that have been 100% discounted and it will be based on the retail value of that item. All payments to Below Spot (including sales tax payments) must be in Fidem. Failure to pay for your item with Fidem within 24 hours of winning an auction can result in suspension or termination of your account and blocking of your IP address.

Yes, you can change your user name, password and account information at any time. Simply sign in and tap the "View your vault" link and go to your account page to edit it.

Each of our auctions will display sponsored ads and affiliate links. The ad fees paid to us from these sponsored ads and the revenue we generate from the affiliate links are what pays for the discounts on our auctions and allows us to make a profit. You can place a sponsored ad or affiliate link on our auctions to generate traffic to your website or affiliate page. Our fees are extremely reasonable and we charge per click so you only pay for the actual traffic that goes to your website or affiliate page. Sponsored ads and affiliate links are displayed on the detail page of each of our auctions (the detail page is the page where you can read the full item description and place a bid on that item). The ads and links will randomly change each time you go to the detail page of an auction. This process provides maximum exposure for you as it allows us to continuously cycle your sponsored ads or affiliate links throughout all the various auctions we offer on Below Spot. Your sponsored ads and affiliate links will also appear on the 'Auction Sponsors' page which displays all the active sponsored ads and affiliate links we currently offer. Each time you go to the Auction Sponsors page, the ads will randomly shuffle so that each ad gets equal and fair positioning on that page over the course of time. And since you pay per click, you can essentially keep your ads running indefinitely as long as you are willing to pay for the clicks you receive on your ads. The fee we charge is $50 for every 100 clicks (fifty cents per click). We only accept the Fidem crypto coin as payment for our ad fees. We charge fifty cents per click for any sponsored ad or affiliate link you'd like to display on Below Spot. The minimum requirement is a $50 payment which is good for 100 clicks (fifty cents per click). Each click you get will deduct fifty cents from your $50 account. You can add more money to your ad account at any time to keep your ad continuously running. There is no time limit for you to receive your 100 clicks. Your ad will remain displayed until you receive your 100 clicks. Once you receive 100 clicks, your ad will no longer be displayed unless you add more money to your ad account. You can run your ad continuously by simply adding another $50 payment to your ad account at any time. Each $50 payment you make will provide you with an additional 100 clicks. URL address to your landing page. We will review your information and get back to you by email to notify you of acceptance or rejection upon full evaluation. If accepted, we will also email you an invoice for you to pay for your clicks. All ad payments must be paid for in Fidem. Upon receiving payment, we will display your ad and we will notify you that your ad is active. Please note that in the near future, we will be simplifying and automating our ad submittal process so that you will be able to actually create your ad or affiliate link directly on our website and instantly submit it. Approval or rejection of ads will be automated in order to provide you with immediate acceptance or denial at the time of your ad submission.
